About
Welcome to my site! I’m Brandon Seymour, and I currently serve as the Principal Enterprise Strategist – AI Factory at CDW, where I focus on helping CDW’s largest enterprise customers design, deploy, and operationalize AI infrastructure across highly regulated, mission-critical environments.
With over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT, my passion sits at the intersection of AI platform engineering, hybrid cloud, and virtualization. I’ve led architecture efforts for large, complex organizations—spanning VMware and Nutanix platforms, GPU-accelerated AI workloads with NVIDIA, Kubernetes-based architectures, and end-to-end MLOps pipelines. My objective is simple: deliver secure, scalable, and repeatable platforms that allow enterprises to move from experimentation to production with confidence.
This blog is a dedicated space for enterprise architects, technologists, and IT leaders navigating the evolving landscape of virtualization, multi-cloud, and AI platforms. Whether I’m breaking down enterprise architecture patterns, analyzing operational tradeoffs, or sharing insights from industry events like VMware Explore, the focus is always on what works at scale—not just in theory, but in real production environments.
Throughout my career, I’ve believed that strong enterprise architecture starts with empathy and discovery—deeply understanding organizational constraints, risk tolerance, and business objectives, then aligning technology to drive measurable outcomes. I’m also deeply invested in mentorship and enablement, helping engineers and architects grow through structured guidance, open dialogue, and real-world problem solving.
Collaboration is central to how value is delivered at CDW. I work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, presales, delivery engineers, and OEM partners—to ensure every solution is not only innovative, but executable, supportable, and sustainable for enterprise customers.
I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Maryland Global Campus, further grounding my enterprise experience in formal AI theory, ethics, and applied practice.
